Marjorie Lucille Wright, 68, Surgoinsville, TN entered into rest Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her residence.
Margie was born in Scott County, VA on June 5, 1946, the daughter of Robert Lee and Nancy Ellen Fletcher Shupe.
In addition to her parents; her sisters, Mildred Chapman, Syble Kern, Georgia Carter; three brothers, Wayne, Glen and Gene Shupe preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, James Earl Wright, Surgoinsville, TN; daughter, Jennifer Wright, Surgoinsville, TN; sister-in-law, Rose Shupe Dixon, Ft. Blackmore, VA; brother, Bobby Shupe and wife, Vickie, Russellville, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mike Pelham and Rev. T.J. Hood officiating. Durhams Chapel Quartet will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 1:00p.m. at the Hills Chapel Cemetery in the Mabe Community of Scott County. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and Friends are asked to meet at 12:15 at the funeral home to go in procession to the graveside service.
