Blanche Salling Wolf- Ft. Blackmore, VA
Blanche Dorothy (Salling) Wolf of Fort Blackmore VA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 20 2017.
She was born on April 21st 1941 to the late Clyde and Mary Belle Salling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving Husband Jerry W Wolf. In Laws Willy Mack Wolf and Marion Louis Wolf. Sisters Barbara Summey and Beverly Barnette. Brother-in-laws Paul Cruby, Junior Summey, Hubert Brock, Cecil Arrington, Wayne Hill, Robert Bledsoe, Bill Maddox. Sister in Law Deloras Maddox. Nephews Michael Bledsoe, Billy and Bobby Salling, Danny Summey, and Ronnie Bledsoe.
Surviving is her Son Jerry W Wolf Jr and Wife Michelle Wolf of Fort Blackmore and Daughter Deloras L Addington and Husband Darrick Addington of Nickelsville, her Grandson’s Jerry “Jay” Wolf III, Anton Ulrich Wolf and Granddaughter Kariya Cequoia Wolf all of Fort Blackmore. Seven sisters Bobbie Cruby, Betty Bledsoe, Brenda and Philliph Mann, Belinda (Carol) Hill, Beatrice and Kenneth Lane all of Fort Blackmore Va. Berniece and Howard Arrington, Bethel Brock of East Carters Valley. Two Brothers Bill and Bonny Salling and Buford and Brenda Salling both of Fort Blackmore, Brother in Laws Mark Barnette of Fort Blackmore, Frank and Pam Wolf of Katy Texas, Bill and Carol Wolf of Skokie Illinois, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
Calling hours will be from 11am-2pm on Monday May 29th at Gate City Funeral Home with the Service being conducted at 2pm in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home with Billy Wayne Arrington officiating and the music provided by Billy Wayne and the Tattered Saints and Mickey and Nicky Summey.
Immediately following the service a procession will take place to the graveside service at Salling/Grizzel Cemetery in Fort Blackmore Va. Graveside services will take place at 3:45pm. The Pallbearers will be Eugene Baker, Stephan Malott, Gary Keeton, Jeff Mann, Johnny Mann, and Mickey Summey.
The family would like to thank a very special Nephew Billy Wayne Arrington for everything he did for Blanche. Also A special Thanks goes out to Dr Todd Castle and the staff of Clinch River Health Services, Dr Vu and the Regional Kidney Center, Dr Matthews and The Cancer Center at Indian Path, and Dr Aziz, Dr Shafie and the staff of the Heart Center, and Wellmont Hospice most of all her nurse James for all their loving care and hard work.
