Wilma Lovejoy – North Carolina

Wilma Grace (Hall) Lovejoy, 89, Claremont, NC and formerly of Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away, Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Hickory, NC.

Wilma was born in Scott County, VA on January 24, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Ezra and Bertha (Laney) Hall.

In addition to her parents, her daughter, Darlene Polmounter, sons, Gary Hall and Billy White, sisters, Ruby, Gaynell, Teresa, Fran, and Marie, and brothers, Bill, Jim, and Joe preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Lee Lovejoy, grandchildren, David, Lavon, Gracie, Billy, Brad, Kevin, Crystal, Michael, and Stacy, several great grandchildren, sisters, Pooch, Cotton and husband, Jack, Bobbie, and Stella, along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Hall Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
