Olene Lane Williams, 85, Gate City, VA went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family who was holding her hand, Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Olene was born in Scott County, VA on March 31, 1934 to the late Harrison and Ollie (Hensley) Lane.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Franklin Williams; daughter, Patricia Kaye Hensley; sister, Lena Mae Page; brother, Ken Lane.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Williams, wife Connie, Fort Blackmore, VA; sisters, Jeanette Craft, Barbara Bise, Gladys Lane; brother, Ray Lane; grandchildren, Sheena Hensley(Justin), Josh Williams, Fort Blackmore, VA; great-grandchildren, Austin Hunley, Gate City, VA, Braden Hensley, Gate City, VA, Emily and Brittany Williams, Gate City, VA, Madison Williams, Fort Blackmore, VA.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Friday July 19, 2019 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Garry Hood officiating. Toke Hensley and the Clinch River Boys will provide the music.
Burial will follow at Craft Cemetery in Fort Blackmore, VA. Bobby Williams, Austin Hunley, Josh Williams, Braden Hensley and Justin Lucas will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will Austin Hunley and Sheena Hensley.
