Lois Williams – 93- entered into rest June 9, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Scott County, VA on May 1, 1917 she is a daughter of the late Moscoe Conard Gibson and Rosie Ann Gibson. She was a member of the Kingsley United Methodist Church for 45 years and of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Isaac Williams along with one sister and several brothers and a son-in-law, Claude Dooley.
Surviving are her daughter, Eunice Gibson Dooley, Kingsport, TN and a son, Hoot Gibson, Kingsport, TN. Sisters, Samantha Carruba and Tony, Kingsport, TN and Ada (Tom) Darnell and Bud, Nickelsville, VA. a brother, Kelly Gibson of Nickelsville, VA.
Grandchildren, Karen Dooley, Blountville, TN and Dustin Dooley and wife, Autumn of Kingsland, GA., great-granddaughters, Morgan LeBlanc, Hunter Dooley and Tia Dooley and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Kingsley United Methodist Church, Bloomingdale Community of Kingsport, TN. Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Amos and Rev. Raymond Amos, Jr. officiating. Music will be provided by the Kingsley Church Choir.
Grave side services will be conducted Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be meeting at the cemetery for the graveside service.
