Jeffrey Williams, Gate City, VA
Jeffrey “Jeff” “Bobo” Williams, 51, of Gat City, VA entered into rest peacefully in his sleep early on the morn of December 1, 2015. Originally from Dawson, GA, Jeffrey spent the last few years of his life in Gate City, Va. He also spent a portion of his life traveling around the country as a truck driver. He was heavily involved at lamplight Theatre in Kingsport, TN where he faithfully served as a watchman fort the actors (and the occasional dog-sitter). His boisterous laugh and humorous personality will forever be ingrained in the hearts and lives of those of us who were given the privilege to meet him. He had also recently made his stage debut a King Herod at LampLight Theatre, and also a Reverend Sikes in ‘to Kill a Mockingbird’ at the Kingsport Theatre Guild. He was a member of New Zion Faith Center in Johnson City, TN. He loved his friends and family more than he loved himself, and his faith in Jesus inspired so many. Jeffrey is survived by his daughter Kiera Williams as well as two other daughters, his fiancée Jeanne France and two daughters, and a multitude of extended family members from the Kingsport Theatre Guild, LampLight Theatre, and his church family. The memorial service to celebrate Jeffrey’s life will be held at LampLight Theatre on Tuesday December 8, 2015, at 6:00 pm
