Ashley Ann Williams – Gate City, VA Ms. Ashley Ann Williams, 26, Gate City, VA passed away suddenly, Sunday, September 5, 2010.

Ashley was born to Bennie "Butch" and Deborah Williams on February 8, 1984 in Sullivan County, TN. She was raised her entire life in Gate City, VA and graduated from Gate City High School in 2002.

The Lord blessed us with her for 26 years. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her.

Ashley loved and played softball for Gate City High School. She loved children and was on her way to becoming a nurse.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.

Surviving in addition to her parents, Butch and Debbie Williams, Gate City, VA are her sister, Bethany Williams, Gate City, VA and brother, B.J. Williams, Gate City, VA; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Tipton's Chapel Cemetery on Copper Ridge in the Manville community of Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
