Early Eugene White, 86, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Early was born in Scott County, VA on March 22, 1927 to the late Dewey and Blanche Nash White.
In addition to his parents, sisters, Beatrice (Bessie) Nash and Sarah Birtwhistle; brothers, Jackie, John C. (Jay) and Lilburn P. (Jim) White preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Jerlean White, Nickelsville, VA; daughters, Teresa Tillman and husband, Robert, Temperance, MI, Diana Martin and husband, Andrew, Nickelsville, VA, Kristinia Davis and husband, Christopher, Kingsport, TN; son, Larry Eugene White, Monroe, MI; brothers, Willie and Linda White, Nickelsville, VA, Everett and Volena White, Nickelsville, VA, Richard and Mary White, Kingsport, TN; sisters-in-law, Lena Faye White and Joyce White; brother-in-law, Robert Birtwhistle; grandchildren, Brandon Eugene White, Kyle James Tillman, Melissa Gene Barnett; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Barnett, Liam Barnett and Owen Barnett; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. G.W. White officiating. Miranda Hutchins, Greg and Becky White will provide the music.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3 assisted by Virginia National Guard Post# 265 at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Oak Hill Memorial Park in Kingsport, TN. Gregory Lee White, David White, Trevor White, Bill White, Adam White and Jason White will serve as pallbearers.
Family and Friends are asked to meet at the Funeral Home to go in procession to the graveside service.
