Betty White, 73, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at her residence.
Betty was born in Sullivan County, VA on May 20, 1945 to the late Britton and Clara Mallory.
In addition to her parents, her granddaughter, Hayley White and sister, Joanne Fugate preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, James White, Nickelsville, VA; son, Jeff White and wife, Kari, Nickelsville, VA; brother Don (Sharon) Mallory, Nickelsville, VA; grandchild, Whitney White; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Lester Morelock and Rev Aaron Noe officiating. Greg and Becky White, Kari White, Whitney White, and Diane Estepp will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m., Sunday to go in procession to the graveside service.
Family would like to say a special thank you to caregivers Zella Graham, and Amber Kern.
