Margaret "Margie" Weddle – Lebanon, VA Margaret Dell "Margie" Weddle, 70, Lebanon, VA passed away, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Wellmont Hospice, Bristol, TN. Born April 2, 1940 in Scott County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Bee and Lillie Clark Dean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Weddle; son , Jimmy Lee Weddle; sister, Lou Dean, and a brother, Lawrence Dean. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Cole and husband, Rick, Lebanon, VA, Diane Fields and husband, Timothy, Nickelsville, VA, Shirley Hall and husband, Johnny, Hiltons, VA, Mary Gobble and husband, June, Lebanon, VA, and Tammy Betterton and husband, Brian, Seven Springs, NC; sons, Randy Weddle and wife, Tabitha, Lebanon, VA, Travis Weddle and wife, Jennifer, Goldsboro, NC, and Jimmy Weddle, Jr., Lebanon, VA; grandchildren, Sunshine Weddle, Mark Gobble, Matthew Babb, Kevin Babb, Santana Dunford, Sheena Austin, Mickey Fields, Randall Weddle, Jr., Jennifer Manuel, Chris Gobble, Shawn Gobble, Ben Gobble, Cameryn Weddle, April Hall, Ashley Weddle, and Zachary Weddle; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Corine Quillen, Nickelsville, VA, Mae Dean and husband, Charlie Bill, Nickelsville, VA, Eva Joyce "Tootsie" Dean, Nickelsville, VA, and Shirley Smallwood, Weber City, VA; brothers, Don Dean and wife , Betty, Kingsport, TN, Buster Dean and wife, Trish, SC, Walter Fred Dean and wife, Sharon, Kingsport, TN, Ralph Dean and wife, Louella, Nickelsville, VA, and Hugh Jack Dean, Nickelsville, VA; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her daughter, Diane Fields. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Fain Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. G.W White and the Rev. Guy Elam officiating. The Teddy Smith Singers and Trish and Guy Elam will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, Abingdon, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at Forest Hills Memory Gardens at 10:55 a.m. for the graveside service.
