Michael Will Tipton, 32, Duffield, VA passed away, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Michael was born in Tennessee on August 9, 1983, the son of the Wilmer Will Tipton and Eunice Wheatley Osborne.
In addition to his father; his grandfather, George Osborne and his brother, Robert Hillman preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Melody Snavely Tipton, Rye Cove, VA; Mother, Eunice Wheatley Osborne, Dungannon, VA; grandmother, Kathleen Osborne, Dungannon, VA; daughters, Harley Lyons, Duffield, VA, Elizabeth Carter, Rye Cove, VA; sons, Matthew Williams, Arcadia, Fl, Jaden Petrusak, Rye Cove, VA,; sister, Patricia Robin Tipton, Monroe, NC; brothers, Gary Hillman, Morristown, TN, Richard Hillman, Coeburn, VA, Charles Hillman, Morristown, TN, Lynn Wheatley, Morristown, TN, Jimmy Wheatley, Morristown, TN, Aaron Wheatley, Morristown, TN and Lance Wheatley, Morristown, TN; along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. The Toke Hensley singers and the Second Coming with the Baldwin’s will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Tipton Cemetery, Slant, VA. Brothers will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m.,Monday day to go in procession to the graveside service.
