He was born in Sullivan County, TN August 24, 1988. He attended Charity Baptist Church and was an honors graduate of Sullivan North High School.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Clyde and Lois Thompson and great grandfather, Arthur Willis Taylor.
Survivors include his father, Jeff and Heather Thompson, Kingsport, TN; mother, Sherry Gill, Kingsport, TN; sister, Haley Victoria Thompson, Kingsport, TN; brother, Eric Kristopher Thompson, Kingsport, TN; paternal grandparents, James and Marjorie Thompson, Kingsport, TN; maternal grandparents, Floyd Harrald, Bakersville, NC and Sandra Hutchins, Capon Bridge, West VA; great grandmother, Okie Taylor, Kingsport, TN; uncles, David and Steve Thompson, Dennis Pratt; five aunts, Kathy Pratt, Sandy Thompson, Lesa Calton, Jackie Hillhouse and Becky Thompson; fiancee', April Williams, Blountville, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007at Gate City Funeral Home and the residence of Jeff and Heather Thompson and other times at the residence James and Marjorie Thompson.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Minister Bob Underwood and Rev. Perry Cleek officiating. Music will be provided by J.W. Depew and son, Damon Depew.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at Thompson Family Cemetery, 873 East Independence Dr., Lynn Garden, Off Gravely Road.
The family will meet at 12:15 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery for graveside services.
Pallbearers will be Eric Thompson, Andrew Ketron, Alex Ketron, Tyler Underwood, Josh Thompson, Mikey Hall, Dwight and Samuel Taylor.
Gate City Funeral Home is serving the Thompson family.
