Faye Templeton

Faye E. Templeton, 66, entered into rest Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Lee County, VA April 24, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Bessie Littrell and foster parents, E.M. and Nell McConnell.
She was devoted to the Lord and her family and was a member of First Baptist Church at Church Circle, Kingsport, TN.
Faye was an avid gardener, took great pride in seeing things grow; she loved having her hands in the dirt.
Her greatest love was being a grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, H.K. Templeton, Kingsport, TN; daughter, Heather Stevens, Nashville, TN; sons, Michael Templeton, Kingsport, TN, Chris Templeton, Maryville, TN; sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Lee County, VA, Betty McKinnon, MI, Brenda Price, Weber City, VA; brothers, Larry Littrell, Lee County, VA, Carl Littrell, Lee County, VA, Robert Littrell, Auburn, AL, EM (Junior) McConnell, Yuma, VA and James Littrell, Lee County, VA; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday March 10, 2009 at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.
The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
