Robert “Junior” Taylor, 84, Duffield, VA passed away, Monday, January 8, 2018 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Taylor was born in Scott County, VA on December 13, 1933. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Vienne (Ward) Taylor
Junior was the last survivor of 14 children.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Katherine Rogers Taylor (2016); daughter, LeeAnna Freeman (1997), and son, Ricky Taylor (1994) preceded him in death.
His survivors include his daughter, Anna Mae (Tony) Reed; grandchildren, Kathy Bledsoe (Jason Stanley), Mark Fields (Tonya), Travis Fields (Marsha), Kristie Arnold, Jerry Freeman, Jr., Ricky Taylor, and Shaina Peterson (Robert); great grandchildren, Eric Freeman (Vikki), Brittany Bledsoe (Jon-Jon), Christopher Taylor (Lexi), MaKayla Fields, , Gavin Arnold, Hannah Fields, Gabriel Arnold, , Kaeleigh Arnold, Katilyn Freeman, Colton and Carlan Freeman, Taylor Fields, Skylar Taylor, and Clover Peterson; great great grandchildren, Haley, Kyleigh, and Karleigh Freeman, Brayden Light, and Grayson Taylor (deceased); along with several nieces and nephews.
It was the wish of Junior to be cremated. The family will receive friends at his residence.
