Sally Louetta Good Taylor, age 97, of the Taylor Town community of Nickelsville, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at her residence.
She was born September 1, 1918, and was the daughter of Mary Pearl Addington Good and Calvin Luther Good.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Isaac Taylor, son: Lowell Eugene “Bud” Taylor, brother: Elmer Eugene Good, sister: Myrtle Lotus Taylor, sons-in-law: Jerry Landon Elliott and Albert McGarvey “Mack” Shelton.
Her survivors include daughters: Betty T. Elliott, Mary P. Vermillion and husband, Patton, Nell Repass and husband, Paul, and Alice Taylor Shelton, sons: Claude Donald Taylor and Scott L. Taylor, brother: Joseph Ewell Good, sisters: Ruby Good Scott and Ilene Good Frasier, grandchildren: Mark W. Repass, Patrice Vermillion Dockery, Jerry Michael Elliott, Michelle Elliott Fletcher, Steven Patton Vermillion, Donnie H. Taylor, Rachel Repass Culbertson, Kevin Raymond Repass, Christopher Isaac Repass, Ashley Taylor Shelton, Whitney Paige Shelton, James Logan Shelton, III, Tara Brook Elliott, Andrew T. Shelton, Jeremy Scott Taylor and Landon Isaac Taylor, 16 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Graveside services will follow the visitation at the Taylor Cemetery, Nickelsville, VA. Grandsons; Mark Repass, Kevin Repass, Chris Repass, Michael Elliott, Steve Vermillion, James Logan Shelton, III, Andrew T. Shelton, Jeremy Taylor and Landon Taylor will serve as pallbearers.
Patton Vermillion, Paul Repass, Bobby Bays and Steve Jennings will serve as honorary pallbearers.
