Mrs. Gladys Virginia Taylor, 82, Fall Branch, TN passed away, Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Russell County, Virginia on February 29, 1930 to the late Howard Jack and Mary Jane Grizzle Kiser.
In addition to her parents, her sisters, Ebbie Taylor and Ethel Skeens; and brothers, Alvin Kiser, Joe Kiser, Cecil Kiser, and Roy Kiser preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Delmer Horton Taylor, Fall Branch, TN; daughter, Wanda Jones and husband, David, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Travis Jones and Angel Jones; great grandchildren, Megan Boswell, Ashley Jones, and Tristan Jones; great great grandson, Jaxson Shaw; sisters, Stella Townsend and husband, James, Kingsport, TN and Mary Pope, Blountville, TN; brother, Howard Kiser and wife, Carol, Tulsa, OK; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ray Bledsoe officiating.
