Billy was born in Kingsport, TN on August 29, 1958 to Clive and Shirley McReynolds Strong.
He was employed by Barger Trucking until his declining health prevented him from working.
He is survived by his loving parents, Clive and Shirley Strong, Gate City, VA; daughters, Savannah Williams, Gate City, VA and Christen Strong, Johnson City, TN; grandsons, Camron Dolen, Cayne Williams, and Kaden Horne; sister, Debbie Pendleton and brother-in-law, Pete, Gate City, VA; brother, Donnie Strong, Gate City, VA; nieces and nephew, Samantha Pendleton, Westley Pendleton, and Kayla Strong; and great nephew, Brady Sexton.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home.
