Allie Stewart of Duffield, VA went home to be with her Lord, February 16, 2011 at Indian Path Hospital in Kingsport, TN. She was born July 11, 1914 to Alfred and Myrtle Rhoton.
She was a lifelong resident of Scott County.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Leonard Love and Eugene Stewart, her parents, Alfred J. and Myrtle Sloan Rhoton; two sisters, Bonnie Rhoton and Edith Williams and three brothers, Howard Rhoton, Berdine Rhoton and Charlie Rhoton.
She is survived by three sisters, Eula Taylor of Duffield, VA, Dorothy Pendergrass and husband Ralph of Bristol VA, and Lois M. Jones of Bristol VA., as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services for Allie will be Thursday , February 17, 2011 at Gate City Funeral Home in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm with Funeral service at 7:00 pm. Evangelist Kenneth Neeley will be officiating. Music will be provided by Kaylors Chapel Church. Graveside services for Allie will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Fraley Cemetery in Pattonsville, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
