Steve E. Peters - Duffield, VA

Steve Ewin Peters, 78, of Duffield, VA passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap, VA.

Steve was born in Scott County, VA on May 11, 1946, and was the son of the late James and Elva (Dickerson) Peters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Peters, and 5 infant siblings.

Steve is survived by his sister, Eula Mae Winston and her husband, David, brother, Dewey Peters, his special cousin who was like his brother, William Dickerson, 2 nephews, Dustin Winston and wife, Barbara, Chris Winston and wife, Christine, great nieces, Haylor, Emily, and Hannah, and a great nephew, Kaden.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Bledsoe Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
