Edward Stephens Castlewood, VA. Edward Wayne Stephens, 47, went to be with his Lord and Maker on May 2, 2008, leaving behind those that he loved. He was born May 27, 1960 in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by a brother, James; sister, Marilyn; grandparents, Wrightly and Beulah Dockery, Bessie Dockery of Dungannon and James and Myrtle Stephens, of Swanee, TN. Wayne is survived by his wife, Jenny Stephens, of the home; daughters, Ashley Brooks and husband, Tyler, Kingsport, TN and Melissa Strong, Kingsport, TN; two stepdaughters, Brianna and Courtney Beavers, of the home; two step sons, Chris and Joey Parks, Dungannon, VA; mother and step father, Laura K. Dockery Stephens, Castlewood, VA, John Williams, Castlewood, VA; sisters, Delores Mitchell and husband, Jerry, Saltville, VA and Tina Stephens, Castlewood, VA; brother, Kelly Allen Lane and wife, Denise, Kingsport, TN special uncle and friend, Wrightly "Bo" Dockery, Dungannon, VA; four special grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Dungannon, VA and anytime at the home of Wayne's Parents on Sunny Point Road. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Dungannon, VA by Danny Darnell and Larry Beavers. Music will be provided by Danny Darnell. Burial will follow the service at the Dockery Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Grizzle, Benny Peak, Michael L. Grizzle, Michael T. Grizzle, Wendell Grizzle, Calvin Grizzle and Randy Dickerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Park, Christopher Parks and James Minix.
