JoAnn Stanley, 61, Duffield, VA went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 7, 2015 at her residence in Duffield, VA.
JoAnn was born in Scott County, VA on February 3, 1954 to the late J.D. and Edna Frazier Jones.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Larry Eugene Stanley (2006) and brother, Charles Jones are rejoicing with her in Heaven.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Miles and husband, Danny, East Carter’s Valley community, Gate City, VA; son, Darrell Stanley and wife, Samantha, Rye Cove, VA; grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Zeke Griffin, Issac Griffin, Isiah Griffin, Danny Miles, Jr., Marie Hall, Nick Hall, Gracie Stanley, and Emiley Stanley; great grandson, Hunter Hensley; sister and best friend, Barbara Mendenhall and husband, Terry, Duffield, VA; sister, Aleta Minton, Duffield, VA; brothers, Thomas Jones, Duffield, VA, Gene Jones and wife, Patty, Duffield, VA, and Johnny Jones, Duffield, VA; sister-in-law, Diane Jones, Gate City, VA; special family friends, Kayla Dorton, Danny Miles, Samantha Stanley, and Avery Robinson; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Hall Cemetery in the Stanleytown community of Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m., to go in procession to the graveside service.
