James E. Stanley, 92, Duffield, VA passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Ridgecrest Manor, Duffield, VA.
James was born in Scott County, VA on October 15, 1925 and was the son of the late George Barlow and Lou (Laney) Stanley.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Euna Mae (Frazier) Stanley (2002); 2nd wife, Cecile Quillin (Dingus) Stanley (2013); daughter, Karen Stanley Robinson; son, Larry Stanley (2006); grandson, Cody Stanley; sisters, Liz Bowen and Nan Austin; brothers, Billy Stanley and Johnny Stanley; and daughter-in-law, JoAnn Stanley (2015); and son-in-law, George Austin preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sons, Benny Wayne Stanley, Sr. and wife, Mary, Duffield, VA and Tommy Joe Stanley and wife, Brenda; daughters, Judy Austin, Duffield, VA and Debbie Lindamood and husband, Ron, Blountville, TN; 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The body of Mr. Stanley will be cremated. No formal service will be conducted at this time.
