Sandra Jean Stallard, 67, Gate City, VA, passed away Saturday, February, 27, 2016, at Ridgecrest Manor.
Miss Stallard was born in Scott County, VA on September 12, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Lora Helen Stallard and attended Midway Methodist Church.
Along with her mother, Miss Stallard is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elbert Hopkins Stallard and Sophia Jane Stallard; cousin, Bruce Stallard.
She is survived by her cousins, Jewett Baird and Charles, Kingsport ,TN, Carolyn Meade and Ernie, Kingsport, TN, Janis McConnell and Dwight, Kingsport, TN, Billie Murphy, Kingsport, TN, Jim Murphy, Kingsport, TN, Don Stallard and Peggy Ann, Weber City, VA.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Ridgecrest Manor as well as neighbors and friends for the kindnesses shown to Sandra.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home, with Rev. Brad Stapleton officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Stallard Family Cemetery, Midway Community, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Bruce Addington and Lee Stallard will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday to go in procession to the graveside service.
