Anna Maude Kerney Stallard – Weber City, VA
Anna Maude Stallard, 90, Weber City, VA passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
Anna was born in Scott County, Virginia on December 5, 1924 to the late William Claude and Margaret Parker Kerney.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Stallard; son, Clayton Stallard, sisters, Ruth Vaughn, Aleta Kerney and brother, Ernest Kerney.
Surviving is her daughter, Barbara Dickey; brother, Hershel Kerney and wife, Brenda; sister-in-law, Kate Kerney; brother-in-law, R.D. Stallard and wife, Eloise; grandchildren, Beth Keene and husband, Jon, Laura Dougherty and husband, Steven, Clayton Dickey and fiancée, Aimee Sharp; great grandchildren, Kayla Mathes and husband, Brandon, Kendra and Hunter Dougherty, Jennifer and James Keene; great great grandchildren, Kaylee and Weston Mathes; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastors Andy Barnes, Jeff DeBoard and R.D. Stallard officiating. Israel and Whitney Crawford will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. David Kerney, Steven Dougherty, Brandon Mathes, Clayton Dickey, Jon Keene and Michael Houseright will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Monday, April 6, 2015 for the graveside service.
