Mary May "Tutti" Spicer, 79, Gate City, VA passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her residence.
Mary was born in Scott County, VA on November 23, 1933 to the late William Robert and Ora Belle Bellamy.
In addition to her parents, her husband, George W. Spicer; son, William Michael Spicer, and daughter, Georgia Ann Spicer; and 7 siblings preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Allen Spicer and wife, Joanna, Gate City, VA and Jeffrey Scott Spicer and wife, Karen, Gate City, VA; grandsons, Jedediah Timothy Paul Spicer and Caleb Gideon Zachariah Spicer; step-grandchildren, Cody Sloan, Hunter Sloan, Jordan Sloan, Kiera Szabo, Kady Szabo, and Nicholas Szabo; sister, Marlene Quillen, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Kelly Fugate, Hilton, VA.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Paul Argoe officiating. Karen Spicer and First Assembly of God Singers will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at funeral home at 1:15 p.m., Saturday to go in procession to the graveside service.
