Will "Curly" Smith , 86, Duffield, VA, passed away, Tuesday, March, 12, 2013 at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, VA.
Mr. Smith was born in Scott County, VA, on May, 5, 1926 to the late App Carter and Mary Ella Lane Smith.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Wanda Smith; brothers, Coy Smith, Ray Smith, and Craft Smith preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sisters, Fay Roller, Duffield, VA ,Lucille Fannon, Norcross, GA, Joyce Akers, Gate City, VA, Rosie Bledsoe, Hiltons, VA; brothers, Cloise Smith, Duffield, VA, Delmer Pat Smith, Ringo, GA and Issac Smith, Franklin, IN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March, 14, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Nancy Rhoton will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Lane Cemetery, Pattonsville, VA. Troy Smith, Jason Smith, Kent Roller and Cloise Smith will serve as pallbearers.
Family and Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
The family would like to give special thanks to Crystal, Ashley, Angelica, Tammy, Marsha, Megan, Courtney Olinger, Carla and all the CNA's at Ridgecrest Manor.
