Oscar Otis Simpson, 85, Gate City, VA passed away, Friday, March 27, 2020 at his residence.
Oscar was born in Sneedville, TN on April 23, 1934, and was the son of the late Jess and Katie (Tucker) Simpson.
In addition to his parents, he had several brothers and sister precede him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth Turner Simpson, Gate City, VA; daughter, Marie Williamson and husband, James, Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Whitney Anderson and husband, Ali Kasongo, Brittany Frazier and husband, Seth, Eli Williamson, and Jala Williamson; 7 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 30, 2020 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA with the Manville Street Church of Christ officiating. A eulogy will be given by his son-in-law, James Williamson.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. for the graveside service.
