Mary Ann Sexton, 62, Weber City, VA passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Scott County, VA on April 4, 1946, a daughter of the late Jessee Lee Lark and Delia Kate Baldwin. She is survived by her daughters, Katie Reed and husband, Kevin, Bloomingdale, TN and Leona "Squeakie" Sexton, Weber City, VA, her son, Boelvis Sexton, Blountville, TN, eight grandchildren, sisters, Margaret Owens, Gate City, VA, Jackie McLaughlin, Gate City, VA, Tootsie Bates, Rogersville, TN along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 ? 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her sister, Jackie Berry. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. George Willis, Rev. Wrightly Salling and Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. The Owens Family will provide the music.
Burial will follow the service at the Bates Cemetery, Copper Creek in Scott County, VA. Jordan Eidson, Brandon Berry, Jacobi Eidson, J. D. Berry, Junior Berry, Tommy Grizzle, Gary Berry,Robert Berry and Jessie Berry will serve as pallbearers.
