She was born July 23, 1942 to the late Harry B. Stapleton and Clara Maude Falin Stapleton. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her half sister, Pollie Falin.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Tammy Sexton, Kelly and Patty Sexton, Tim Sexton and Missy Livesay, Wade Sexton and girlfriend, Tammy Mullins, Ray and Dorothy Sexton, all of Gate City, VA; sister, Loretta Starnes, Gate City, VA, brother, Harry B. Stapleton, Gate City, VA; special friends, Tammy Mullins and Myrtle Jean Sexton; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mark Sexton and Rev. Eugene Sexton officiating. Music will be provided by Kenneth Davis, Worley Jean Sexton and Hazel Ervin.
Burial will follow the service at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Bays, Billy Falin, Gary Falin, and Timmy Garrett.
The family would like to thank Tammy Mullins and Hospice for there care and support.
