Mary Sensabaugh – Church Hill, TN

Mary Sensabaugh, 82, Church Hill, TN passed away, Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Scott County, VA on August 22, 1930 to the late Holly and Lillian Bloomer.

She attended Freedom Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Carmel, TN. She was a Patient Care Tech with Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center for 37 years.

In addition to her parents, her son, Billy Joe Powers; grandparents, Molly and Dale Bloomer; sister, Margaret Baker; brother, Charles Fred Bloomer; and her favorite uncle, Oak McDavid preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Robert Sensabaugh, Church Hill, TN; step-children, Andy Sensabaugh and wife, Helen, Bob Sensabaugh and wife, Vicia, Farrise Sensabaugh, Kathy Sensabaugh, Mike Sensabaugh and wife, Debbie, and Kenneth Sensabaugh; grandchildren, Billy Powers and Regina Powers; great grandchildren, Cody Powers and Calista Powers; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Stone, OH; brother, Jack "Bill" Bloomer, Kingsport, TN; step sister, Eola Rhoton, Kingsport, TN; step brothers, Frank Barnette, OH and Kenneth Barnette, Weber City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews; and her special caregiver, Debra and Hospice caregiver, Kathy.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh and Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Freedom Baptist Church Singers will provide the music.
