Pearl Sanders, 79, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Scott County, VA .on September 1, 1937 to the late Ollie and Bessie Dooley Trivette.
In addition to her parents, her husband, McCoy Sanders; sons, Rickey Allen and Jerry Lynn; sisters, Shirley Meade, Frankie Meade and brother, Carson Trivette preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita Smith and, Roger, Gate City, VA , Carolyn Jones and Gary Allen, Duffield, VA; sons, Michael Sanders, Ft Blackmore, Wayne Sanders and Sib, ft Blackmore, VA, Glen Sanders and Linda, Hiltons, VA; Sister Frances Greear, Coeburn, VA; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren ; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Gate City Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Sanders/Gillenwater Cemetery, Ft Blackmore with Pastor Phil Whittmore officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
