Timothy Alan Ross, 71, Gate City, VA passed away, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at his residence in the Yuma community of Gate City, VA.
Mr. Ross was born in Vermont on March 27, 1942 to the late Kenneth and Bertha Grace Ott Ross. He was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church, Kingsport, TN.
In addition to his parents, his infant brother,Howard Neal Ross preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Tassey Ross, Gate City, VA; daughter, Katrina Ross, Des Moines, IA; sons, Bryan Ross, Bulls Gap, TN, Jonathan Ross, Panaroma City, CA, and Peter Ross and wife, Julissa, Beaver Creek, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher, and Kenneth Ross, and Kristina and David Kelehan; great grandchild, Xionna Kelehan; step mother, Frances Ross, San Pedro, CA; half sister, Joanne Fledmeth and husband, Nate, San Pedro, CA; and half brother, Glenn Ross and wife, Lynn, Lancaster, PA; along with an Aunt several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a memorial service conducted Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Salyer officiating.
