Ronnie Edward Taylor

Ronnie Edward Taylor, 74, Gate City, VA, passed away, peacefully at the home of his brother Micheal Taylor on Sunday, Easter morning, what a glorious morning to meet his Lord and Savior.

Ronnie was born in Kingsport, TN, on August 28, 1950, to the late Robert and Elizabeth LaVonna (Tipton) Taylor “Aunt Don”.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Taylor, and brother-in-law, Lowell Grizzle.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Jean Grizzle, Ft. Blackmore, VA; brother, Michael (Teresa) Taylor, Kingsport, TN; sister-in-law, Brenda Taylor, Hiltons, VA; nephews, Jamie Grizzle, Mark, Donovan, Adam, and Luke Taylor; niece, Lacey (Brandon) Morelock; great nephews, Justin, Adyan, Lochlan, Caden; great nieces, Mackenzie, Annabell, Macy; best friends, Bill and Barbara Piercy, Hazel Dougherty, Jerry Broadwater, all of the gang at Mountain View Market; especially his family at Freedom Home, Clintwood, VA; and many cousins.

Services will be conducted at 1:00p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2025, in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home, with brother Rick Begley officiating.
