Rosa Lee Roller – Church Hill, TN
Rosa Lee Roller, 69, Church Hill, TN went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Wexford House, Kingsport, TN.
Rosa was born in Scott County, VA on April 3, 1948 and was the daughter of the late John and Ona Rhoton.
In addition to her parents, her brothers, J.M. and Donald Rhoton and step-mother, Maudella Rhoton preceded her in death.
Rosa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was a member of the Fluffy Feathers Association, a part of the Red Hat Society, for several years.
Surviving is her loving husband of 50 years, Donald; son, Ronnie and wife, Shenia; grandson, Jacob; sisters, Francis Hilton and Zella May Lyons; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Ron Cassidy officiating. Rosa’s nieces will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. David Sutherland, Kevin Bowman, Jake Bellamy, Luke Whitson, Jacob Roller, and Ronnie Roller will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Gate City Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m., Sunday for those who wish to go in procession to the graveside service.
The family would like to thank the extended family at The Wexford House for their love and care of our loved one in the last years. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the staff at Amedisys Hospice for their care and compassion in Rosa’s last days.
