James Harold Roller, 74, Duffield, VA passed away, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Indian Path Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Roller was born in Scott County, VA on June 7, 1941. He was the son of the late Emmitt and Randa Bledsoe Roller.
In addition to his parents, his twin brother, Carrol Roller and other brothers, Conley Roller, Kay, Roller, and T.M. Moore preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Faye Smith Roller, Duffield, VA; daughter, Teresa Duncan and husband, Jay, Weber City, VA; son, Kent Roller and wife, Robin, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Krystal Lucas and husband, Dustin. Church Hill, TN, Kent Roller, Jr., Kingsport, TN, Stephanie Roller, Kingsport, TN; step granddaughter, Rachel Cox, Kingsport, TN; great grandson, Jaxon Lucas, Church Hill, TN; sister, Elsie Roller, Church Hill, TN; brothers, Donald Roller and wife, Rosie, Church Hill, TN and Gene Roller and wife, Barbara, Mechanicsville, VA; special niece, Vickie Roller; along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. T.J. Hood and Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Way of the Cross will provide the music.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Jay Duncan, Dustin Lucas, Kent Roller, Jr., Mike Dorton, Ricky Jason Smith, and Butch Childress will serve as pallbearers.
