Mrs. Robinette was born in Scott County, VA on July 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Daniel and Laura Kilgore Lyons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Robinette, sisters, Jerline Anderson and Eunice Clark and brothers, Roy and Andy Lyons.
Surviving is her sister, Iona Horton, Richmond, VA and several special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Eckel Herron officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the Kilgore Cemetery in the Big Springs Community of Hancock County, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be meeting at the cemetery for the graveside service.
