Cora Robinette

Cora V. Robinette, 87, entered into rest Monday, January 26, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Scott County, VA November 11, 1921 to the late Franklin Taylor Robinette and Verna Gibson Robinette. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include three nephews, Glen Tyler and wife, Margaret, Kingsport, TN and Nick Schussler, Johnson City, TN; three nieces, Phyllis Ruth Mays and husband, Charlie, of Maryland, Margaret Koth and husband, Don, Kingsport, TN, Billie Sue Berry and husband, James H., Duffield, VA; five great nephews, four great nieces, six great-great nephews, twelve great-great nieces, eight great-great-great nephews and ten great-great-great nieces and a host of cousins and many friends.
The body will be cremated according to Mrs. Robinette's wishes. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Gate City Funeral Home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Pastor David Kern officiating. Music will be provided by Kaylors Chapel Choir. The family will receive friends following the service.
