Ronnie Robertson, 48, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at his residence with his family by his side.
Ronnie loved God and his family with all of his heart. He touched many lives through his ministry at Northeast Tennessee Correctional Facility. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, and a man of God.
He was born in Louisa, KY to the late Everett Ray and Doris Ann Bailey Robertson. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Lee Robertson.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Robertson, Gate City, VA; two sons, Timothy Robertson and Michael Todd Robertson, both of Gate City, VA; three sisters, Rhonda Cisco, West Virginia, Brenda Robinette, North Carolina, and Deborah Stacy, VA; three brothers, Everett Ray Robertson, Dale Robertson and Tommy Robertson, all of West Virginia; mother-in-law, Alpha Hall, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at Pentecostal Powerhouse Church and other times at the residence. Services will be held at 8 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dwayn Williams, Rev. Greg Street, Rev. Donald Culbertson and Rev. Willy Duffy officiating. Music will be provided by Joey Hall and New Life Trio.
Mr. Robertson will be transported to Weaver Funeral Home, Williamson, West Virginia where the family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lily officiating. Burial will follow at the service at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Mahor, West Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Robertson, Michael Robertson, Dale Robertson, Tommy Robertson, Everett Robertson and Basil Robinette.
Gate City Funeral Home is serving the Robertson family.
