Randy Dale Roberts, Weber City, VA
Randy Dale Roberts, 66, of Weber City, VA passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Ridgecrest Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Duffield, VA.
He was born in Scott County Virginia on October 11, 1951 to the late Homer and Alberta Bishop Roberts. In addition to his parents, Randy is also preceded in death by his infant son Randy Travis Roberts; sisters, Mary Maya, and Ona Poole; brothers, Lee Roberts, and Kelly Roberts.
Randy’s survivors include his wife Debra Overbay Roberts, Weber City, VA; sisters, Judy (Sam) Poole, Gate City, VA, Susie (Frank) Malone, Kingsport, TN; brothers, Roy (Anna Belle) Roberts, Clinchport, VA, Buddy Roberts, Clinchport, VA; mother-in-law, Anna Jean Overbay, Ft. Blackmore, VA; sisters-in-law, Gladys Roberts, Clinchport, VA, Sue Roberts, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends at Gate City Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Jackie Frazier and Brother Mike Gilliam officiating. Eddie and Pam Roberts along with David and Debbie Easterling will be providing music.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the Houston Dingus Cemetery in the Slant Community of Ft. Blackmore, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:00 p.m. in order to go in procession.
