Mrs. Rosa Mae Rhoton, 70, Duffield, VA passed away, Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Brookhaven Manor in Kingsport.
Mrs. Rhoton was born in Scott County, VA on April 17, 1938, a daughter of the late Paul and Rosie Bell Lawson Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Rhoton and
One great — great nephew, Dalton Joseph Hamilton.
Surviving is her daughter, Loretta Cobb, Kingsport, TN and two sisters, Teresa Waddell and husband, Jim, Kingsport, TN and Betty S. Russell, Kingsport, TN. Special niece, Elizabeth Holt and husband, Allan. One nephew, Robert Mack and wife, Beth, two great nephews, Charles J "CJ" Hamilton and Joseph Mack. One great ?great nephew, Dakota Hamilton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Kyle Akers officiating. Living Proof Singers will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Adams Cemetery, Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be meeting at the cemetery for the graveside service.
