Teresa Ramsey-Duffield, VA

Teresa Ramsey, 53, Duffield, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.

Teresa was born on March 24, 1964 in Sullivan County, TN and was the daughter of the late Millard F. and Katherine (Darnell) Hass.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Hass and Eddie Hass; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Ova Ramsey.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Ramsey, Duffield, VA; daughter, Jamie Ramsey, Duffield, VA; son, Matthew Ramsey, Duffield, VA; grandchildren, Gavin Ramsey, Haley Ramsey, Brandon Ramsey, and Annabell Ramsey; great-grandchild, Adaline; sisters, Jean Neff and husband, Don, Zelma Davis and husband, Hubert, and Donna Hass; brothers, Charles Hass and wife, Patsy, and Donald Hass; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Hammonds officiating. Music will be provided by Dwayne and Wanda Hammonds.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the McNew Cemetery in Stanleytown Community, Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.
