Shawn Tristan Ramsey, 9 days old, entered into rest Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was born in Washington County, TN January 13, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Isabella Nevaeh Ramsey and Jannah Grace Ramsey.
Survivors include his parents, Shawn Ramsey and Jessica Smith, Dungannon, VA; maternal grandparent, Wanda Crawford, Kingsport, TN; paternal grandparents, Penny Begley, Dungannon, VA and Joe Gamble, Kingsport, TN; special great grandmother, Georgia Baldwin, Ft. Blackmore, VA; twin brother and sister, Kalynn and Kristian Ramsey, Duffield, VA; brothers, Malaki Craig, Kingsport, TN and Kolton Ramsey, Ft. Blackmore, VA; sister, Summer Ramsey, Dungannon, VA; special aunt, Summer Begley, Dungannon, VA.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jerry McNew officiating. Music will be provided by April McNew and Tim Baldwin.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Corder Cemetery, Dungannon, VA.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gate City Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Gate City, VA 24251.
