Will Calvin Ramey

Will Calvin Ramey, 75, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, at his residence.
Will was born in Sullivan County, TN to the late Carrie Raby. He is also preceded in death by his brother Bob Raby, his sister Francis Russell, sister-in-law Dolly Raby, and brother Jerry Mack Raby.
He retired from Derrick’s Trucking. He was a truck driver for 33 years. He loved his great grandbabies more than life itself.
Will is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Virginia Pauline Ramey, of the home; daughter Judy and husband George Castle, Kingsport, TN; son Calvin and Susie Rea Ramey, Gate City, VA; brother Fred Raby, Gate City, VA; grandchildren Brittney Tester, Kingsport, TN, Alishia Gibson and fiancée Travis Bledsoe, Fairview, VA, Cassie Ramey, Gate City, VA; great grandchildren Holden Moss, Remington Tester, Eva and Savanah Bledsoe; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Gate City Funeral Home in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Clayton Williams officiating. Music will be provided by Pine Grove Harmony.
