Radford McArthur Ramey- Duffield, VA

Radford McArthur Ramey, 59, Duffield, VA, passed away, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his residence. 

Radford was born in Kingsport, TN, on January 28, 1965, to the late Daniel McArthur Ramey, and Regina Thorpe Ramey. 

In addition to his parents, his son, Ronnie Edward Moore, Jr.; and brother, Charles Ramey preceded him in death. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty (Bowen) Ramey; daughter, April Dawn Flanary (David); brother-in-law, who was more like a son, Billy Bowen (Bambi); best friend and brother in the Lord, Greg Mullins; grandson, Oliver Flanary; precious fur baby, Gizmo; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Joe Roberts officiating. Praise Duet will provide the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Cox’s Chapel Church Cemetery, Duffield, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00a.m., to go in procession to the graveside service.

Michael Bledsoe, Jr., Millard Bowen, Dale Townsend, Dustin Townsend, and Billy Bowen will serve as pallbearers. Michael Bledsoe, Sr. will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
