Kingsport, TN ? Janet Lynn Quillen, 46, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at her home.
She attended Kendrick Creek Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Quillen in 2007; father, Eugene Quillen, 1989; grandparents, Bob and Jennie Odle, Carl and Clara Quillen; cousin, Jeffery Wood.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Quillen, Weber City, VA; her K-9 companion, "Babe"; mother-in-law, Elaine and husband, Kelly Culbertson; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home and any time at her mother's home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA with Rev. Steve Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Kilgore, Wayne Hammond, Joe Chase, Tim Spouse, Wayne Taylor, Jeff Holt, Roger Hensley and Jimmy Holtzclaw.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arles Pease, Steve Atiyah, Ernie Jones, Ray Gentry, Butch Bledsoe, Ralph Hall, Harold Fraysier, Arnold Sexton and Willie Hilbert.
Memories gifts may be made to the Sullivan County Animal Shelter, Massengill Road, Blountville, TN 37617.
