Kathy Price, 61, Nickelsville, VA passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Indian Path Medical Center.
Kathy was born in Sullivan County, TN on October 31, 1953 to Carrie Gilmer Price and the late George Bernard Price.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was employed by Quad Graphics where she excelled in her job.
In addition to her father, George B. Price; her maternal and paternal grandparents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her mother, Carrie Gilmer Price, Nickelsville, VA; brother, Gary Price, Nickelsville, VA; niece, Nicole Price Hensley and husband, Tim, Nickelsville, VA; nephew, Adam Price and Lauren Horn, Weber City, VA; a very special great niece, Maddie Hensley; and best friend, Donna Caldwell, Church Hill, TN.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her mother, Carrie Price. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Larry Spivey officiating.
Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Eric Williams, Brian Williams, Larry Fields, Alex Caldwell, Johnny Gilmer, Travis Gilmer, Adam Price, and Tim Hensley will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Scott County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1535, Gate City, VA 24251.
