Shirley Ann Powers, 77, of Gate City, VA passed away at Holston Valley Medical Center Thursday, December 27th, 2018.
She was born on February 15th, 1947 to the late William and Verna Grizzle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Randolph, sister, Barbara Grizzle, and brother Charlie “Bud” Grizzle.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Sue Adams Gate City, VA; sons, Don Wayne (Christy) Powers, Weber City, VA, James Kelly Powers, Duffield, VA; sister, Betty Lou Simpson, Weber City, VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hope Adams-Burke and Brent Edwin Burke, Tori Powers; great-granddaughter, Gracie Belle Alabama Burke; several extended family members and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating.
Burial will follow the service, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Powers Family Cemetery in Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
