He was born April 25, 1947 to James Charlie Powers and Mary Ruth Sensabaugh. Billy was an avid truck driver. He is preceded in death by his father James Charlie Powers and his grandfather Will Powers. He is survived by his mother Mary Ruth Sensabaugh of Kingsport, TN, Daughter, Regina Lynn Powers of Duffield, VA, Son, Billy Powers Jr. and wife Jennifer of Kodak, TN, Girlfriend, Jo Ann Stanley of Duffield, VA, half-brother, Michael Powers of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren, Jacob Cody Powers of Kingsport, TN and Calista Ann Powers of Kingsport, TN. He is also survived by a special friend, Robert Sensabaugh of Kingsport, TN. Services for Billy will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Freedom Baptist, 1536 Independence Avenue, Mount Carmel, TN 37645 with the Rev.
