Floyd "Buster" Potts, 53, entered into rest November 25, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was born in Scott County, VA October 19, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edgar Potts, Sr. and Mary Frances McDavid Potts; two brothers, Johnny and Jimmy Potts.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Kate Potts, and Minnie Ruth Mullins, both of Kingsport, TN; three brothers, Robert Potts, Jr., Lester Potts, and Kyle Potts, all of Kingsport, TN; several nieces, nephews and an army of great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be at 12 p.m. in the Juanita S. Falin Memorial Chapel of funeral home with Rev. Steve Hooper officiating.
Burial will follow the service at the Oak Glen Baptist Church Cemetery, Yuma, VA.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
