Darlene Joyce White Polmounter, 52, Claremont, NC passed away, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence due to declining health.
Darlene was born in Russell County, VA on May 4, 1962 to Wilma Hall Lovejoy and the late Clyde Buford White.
She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
Her brother, Gary Wayne Hall preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Lavon Page and husband, Randy, Hickory, NC and Gracie White, Hickory, NC; grandchildren, Zackary, Tyler, Jailyn, Gavin, and Lydia White; mother and step-father, Wilma Lovejoy and husband, Howard, Dungannon, VA; brothers, Billy White and wife, Donia, Maiden, NC and Buford White, Conover, NC; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Charlie Taylor officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Hall Cemetery, Hunters Valley in the Buffalo Church Community. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Saturday to go in procession to the graveside service.
